What do you think of when you see this sculpture?
The sculptures of this artist duo are the result of a process in which one responds to the actions of the other. The base for their sculptures is usually wood or metal, but in this case it is an oriental, porcelain figurine. Around the base, free forms of synthetic resin emerge, often in combination with found objects. The dripping mixtures of lines and colours flow into each other. It looks as if the forms are created to leave the flat surface and move freely into space. Nature’s capriciousness is their main source of inspiration.
