What feeling does this work evoke in you?
Fransje Killaars is fascinated by textiles and colour. This fascination blossomed during a trip to India, where she saw fabric dyers at work. She explores the power and significance of colours and colour combinations, and their effect on the environment. Killaars' work was created especially for this space and therefore follows the form of this building. Thus it enters into a relationship with the space, and becomes part of the architecture. The warm feel of textiles adds to the experience.
