What do you think of in this photograph?
Fantastic scenes, familiar objects: the branches seem to grow through the door, like an involuntary sculpture in an unusual place. In Elspeth Diederix's photographs, everyday objects are taken out of their original context and composed into new, surreal-looking images. No computer editing, but careful staging. In doing so, Diederix gives new meaning to both objects and surroundings.
